Looking For Individual Sized Wedding Cakes

The latest & greatest wedding cakes are actually cupcakes. Who doesn't love a cupcake? There's bakeries devoted to only generating cupcake masterpieces made of decadent chocolate cake & frosted with thick, rich butter cream. Cupcakes can even be made to be small versions of your favorite cake, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake, cheesecake...these small cakes are not small on taste. Nor are they plain to look at. Gourmet cupcakes can be frosted to look like any flower. With a small research you might be surprised to find two of these specialty bakeries near you.

Cupcakes are not the only individual cakes to serve. Miniature versions of pies, complete with flaky crust are a delicious alternative. For a fall wedding, a bite sized apple, pumpkin, or pecan pie would be delightful. & in the summer time, you could have small key lime or summer berry cobbler.

Like the look of a traditional wedding cake, but not the size? Small scale wedding cakes, two small tiers & all, can be offered to your guests. Another classically small dessert is petit fours. These are inch by inch squares of frosted cake-literally a sample size. They can be a plain sponge cake or have a cream or fruit filling. Again, these delightful desserts can be frosted in nice 'ole chocolate or vanilla, or have a color added to match your wedding theme - pink, yellow, green, purple, whatever you wish.
